The phrase describes a threshold that marks both the beginning and the end of the summer. At this seasonal edge, perception begins to shift. Days stretch out, thoughts merge, materials deform, and glaring light gives rise to sharp contours and shimmering afterimages. Taking this transitional moment as its point of departure, the exhibition brings together works that evoke atmospheric states and moments of flux, while connecting with one another both thematically and formally.
