Die Installation Untitled Song featuring Untitled Works by James Clarkson (2012) des britisch-pakistanischen Künstlers Haroon Mirza besteht aus sechs autonomen Skulpturen, die Licht, Ton und Objekte in einem vielschichtigen, sensorischen Erlebnis zusammenführen. Jede Skulptur ist eine Assemblage aus verschiedenen Komponenten wie etwa gefundenen Retromöbeln, Lautsprechern, Schlagzeugteilen und LEDs, die in einer DIY-Ästhetik zusammengefügt sind und jeweils einen eigenen Lo-Fi Sound generieren. Mirza versteht sich dabei als Komponist, der Skulpturen zu Instrumenten werden lässt, die auf ungewohnte Weise miteinander interagieren und so Klangräume schaffen, die sich zwischen Analog und Digital, Ton und Bild, Skulptur und Musik bewegen. Einige Skulpturen sind in Kollaboration mit dem britischen Künstler James Clarkson (*1987 Liverpool, UK) entstanden und wurden zuletzt in der Bonniers Konsthall in Stockholm, SE und im Art Centre Spike Island in Bristol, UK (beide 2012) ausgestellt.

The installation Untitled Song featuring Untitled Works by James Clarkson (2012) by the British-Pakistani artist Haroon Mirza consists of six autonomous sculptures that fuse light, sound and objects into a multi-layered sensory experience. Each sculpture is an assemblage of various components such as found retro furniture, loudspeakers, drum parts and LEDs, which are assembled in a DIY aesthetic with each generating its own lo-fi sound. Mirza sees himself as a composer who uses sculptures as instruments, allowing them to interact with each other in unusual ways and thus creating sound worlds and spaces that move between analog and digital, sound and image, sculpture and music. Some sculptures have been created in collaboration with the British artist James Clarkson (*1987 Liverpool, UK) and were last exhibited in 2012 at Bonniers Konsthall in Stockholm, SE and at Spike Island in Bristol, UK.
