The Biennial of the Americas and Black Cube are inviting Denver community members to participate in an upcoming, temporary, public art installation titled La inclusión de mi raza by Mexican artist Gabriel Rico at Tail Tracks Plaza.
The artist is seeking donated objects from Denver residents and organizations to be included in a series of outdoor totemic sculptures that collectively express the community’s identity.
This community event is a part of Edge Effect, a wider project presented by the Biennial of the Americas with Artistic Direction by Black Cube, a nomadic art museum, featuring contemporary art activations by artists from the Americas that explore the concept of intersecting boundaries. Opening September 2022.
