For the Liste Art Fair Basel 2026, max goelitz is presenting new works by Ju Young Kim in a site-specific installation. The booth is transformed into a transitional space between arrival and departure, shaped by Ju Young Kim’s poetic and context-sensitive combinations of handcrafted glass works and functional high-tech objects.

In her practice, the artist combines different materials, cultural references, and temporal layers into multi-layered narratives that explore questions of identity, memory, mobility, and belonging. For Liste Art Fair Basel, she is developing a spatial installation that understands the fair booth as a threshold space—a place of transition where personal and collective stories, tradition and the present, as well as physical and digital realities, meet.
