music video release

an experimental live session in collaboration with carl gari, abdullah miniawy and justin urbach

A new video directed by Justin Urbach in collaboration with Carl Gari and Abdullah Miniawy premiered on January 23rd and is now available in full-length on youtube.

For years, the house of the grandfather of Carl Gari’s Jonas Yamer, who came to Germany as a refugee from Czechoslovakia, served as the birthplace of all music production by Carl Gari and Abdullah Miniawy. Built after World War II, the house features a unique 1950s-style interior and a long-abandoned indoor swimming pool where their last session took place before the house was sold.

Filmmaker Justin Urbach places the dramatic lines of this s in the way he understands them to be. In a sci-fi journey, four boys accidentally use a device to see the future, inadvertently trapping Abdullah Miniawy in his past, imagining images of revolution and motherhood.

Abdullah Miniawy, Carl Gari, and Justin Urbach fuse the essence of color, gender, and sound with their extraordinary performances in the film’s final session at Neunburg’s house. In The End of the Bow the magical place of their creativity was captured and immortalized.

All three musical compositions performed in the film will be featured on the group’s upcoming album.
