Kristina Nagel’s site-specific installation NON-FIELD VII (2026) is currently on view at the Denmark Pavilion as part of Two Minutes Every Three Weeks and Two Minutes Everyday at the Gwangju Civic Center in South Korea. Curated by Jacob Fabricius, Johanne Jacob and Kristian Kirk, the exhibition takes the building’s raw, brutalist architecture as a starting point to explore the relationship between body, space and materiality. Conceived as a stage for contemporary art, performance and bodily presence, the exhibition brings together artistic positions that challenge the boundaries between interior and exterior, architecture and skin, and stillness and movement. Through sound, movement and physical presence, the exhibition transforms the static concrete environment into a living space in constant flux. Its title is borrowed from Hamburger Lady, a 1978 song by the British industrial band Throbbing Gristle.
