The catalog raisonné of Jürgen Partenheimer's artist's books is published by Snoeck as volume 11/2025 of the publication series of the Kunst- und Museumsbibliothek Cologne. Gabriele Wix is the editor and author of the scientifically supervised catalog raisonné, a selected bibliography of the artist's writings and a text on the artist's books. Concept and design were developed by Silke Fahnert and Uwe Koch in cooperation with Jürgen Partenheimer. The publication received generous support from the Stiftung Kunstfonds, Bonn, the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, the ThesArte Foundation, Hamburg and Edition Ennui, Cologne/Munich.
Artist's books are a central part of Jürgen Partenheimer's oeuvre. Reading line and color, text and image as a trace of movement and feeling constitutes the sensual and intellectual quality of the specific space of Jürgen Partenheimer's artist books and sets standards up to the present day. A signed and numbered special edition with a drawing inccluded will be published in an edition of 10 copies.
