Lukas Heerich is part of the exhibition IM KINOSAAL at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, taking place in summer 2025. The exhibition concept draws direct connections to the history of Düsseldorf’s art and music scene, highlighting the interplay between visual art and sound. Within this context, Lukas Heerich is positioned as a central voice in an interdisciplinary and collaboratively shaped environment, presenting an audiovisual work in the Kunsthalle’s iconic Kinosaal. Over the course of the exhibition, 13 artists each occupy the space for one week, showcasing a range of artistic approaches including sound installations, digital compositions, videos, and performative formats. IM KINOSAAL also marks the beginning of the Kunsthalle’s farewell year, as the building will close for renovations starting in April 2026 for a period of three years.
