For the Liste Art Fair Basel 2025, max goelitz presents a solo booth by Lukas Heerich in collaboration with the curators Pierre-Alexandre Mateos and Charles Teyssou.
Weaving together collective history and personal narratives, Lukas Heerich creates forms that are both abrasive and vulnerable. Protection, isolation, and power are juxtaposed in settings marked by an intensified material presence. At once agoraphobic and claustrophobic, his works construct psychological spaces – repositories of neurosis, phobia, and contemporary anxiety. With curators Pierre-Alexandre Mateos and Charles Teyssou as well as in collaboration with artist Precious Okoyomon, Heerich will investigate a poetry of disaster with a raw and intoxicating sensuality.
